Last weekend, BWH2 Productions had the awesome opportunity to team up with Touchstone for the "Your Best Shot" senior portrait event. The event, now in its 5th year, is sponsored by Touchstone Youth Resource Services, Inc. Touchstone was founded 26 years ago by Jim Weber and Melony Pugh-Weber. Touchstone is a faith-based nonprofit that develops the spiritual, social and emotional assets we all need to be our best in life. They believe God has called us to use the resources He has provided to carry out His work on earth to individuals and groups both in and outside the church. And, that He has given us a passion to make disciples and to help them grow to Christian maturity.
When we showed up to the event, deserving students were busy getting their makeup done and senior portraits taken. Since the Nashville Country Music Marathon had shut down streets in the neighborhood, some of the kids could not get a ride. So off we went to the local projects to pick them up and prep them for photographs. The all volunteer staff was a joy to work with and the kids were so fun! We were able to capture some great shots to give to the high school seniors as a giant congradulations for graduating. Many are the first high school graduates in their families and a number of them have scholarships to college. In was clear to see that Touchstone has been instrumental in each of their lives.
